Racer Reports
Got a good start, stayed in top five during the first lap, then passed Morris on lap two. I was able to reel Duvall in on the last lap for the pass, and finished 3rd overall, behind O’Shea and Edwards, and 1st in the 35+ category
Scott Stewart
I could not stay with Pone. Cote and I battled for 2nd. Tough fight, got him by a couple of bike lengths… it hurt. Dan beat us both by about a minute.
Ben Rabin
I was riding 2nd for most of the race with a big gap to 3rd. Passed the leader at the start of the last lap and gapped him from there. Did the single speed 15 minutes later. Got dropped immediately by some super strong dude and hammered most of the race in no-man’s land.
Jon Cyganik
Mid pack finish for me. I didn’t try and contest the hole shot. Got stuck behind a slow pack and passed them, despite my inability to hop a small log ?. Reminded me why I love cx so much. I was happy with the race and had a blast.
Dan Deemer
Started in back so nobody would crash into me as I slooowly went around corners and down the hills. “Battled it out” with the the Juniors and 2 guys in t-shirts and skateboard helmets who had never done this kind of thing before. Had a great time, this is a great course.
